Sadye’s Fund for Spreading Hope is a non-profit organization that has been created in honor of Sadye Webb, a very brave four-year-old cancer survivor.  The purpose of Sadye’s Fund for Spreading Hope is to raise money in order to help northeast Alabama families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer or other serious/terminal illnesses.  The board of directors will distribute any money raised to families who need assistance in dealing with the financial burden of a child suffering from cancer or other serious/terminal illnesses.  If you would like to make a contribution to Sadye’s Fund for Spreading Hope, please email us at corey048@centurytel.net  Sadye’s Fund for Spreading Hope is in the process of becoming a 501c3 organization, so your donation’s retail value would be completely tax deductible as allowed by law.

About Sadye:

Sadye Webb, daughter of Corey and Regan Webb of Scottsboro, was a seemingly healthy three-year-old girl until her well-child check-up.  At the check-up, Dr. V.H. Reddy found a lump in her abdomen.  Within a week, Sadye was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor, which is a rare cancer of the immature kidney.  Dr. Reddy referred Sadye to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham for treatment.  Once at Children’s Hospital, Sadye had surgery to remove the tumor as well as her left kidney.  After the surgery, Sadye underwent several months of chemotherapy treatments.  The treatment was successful for Sadye, and she is now a healthy four-year-old girl.
